'Our Fascinating Flora' photo competition and exhibition:
There were over 340 entries, from across Ireland, to the ‘Our Fascinating Flora’ photography competition. Thank you to the judges for making difficult decisions! The photographs were truly fascinating. The winning and highly commended entries were displayed in the Orbsen Foyer for one week following Fascination of Plants Day and are as follows:

Winner Marie Coyne who runs the Hertiage museum on Inishbofin (www.facebook.com/InishbofinHeritageMuseum) came all the way to NUI Galway to see the exhibition!

Children's art workshop: Gordon D'Arcy

Gordon D’Arcy (www.gordondarcy.ie) ran an art workshop for 35 children and their parents on May 18th. Everyone who took part loved it and the children were star artists! Thank you Gordon!
